What Is Maxithlon?

Maxithlon is the first and only online game in which you can manage a track and field club to fame.

You will have to manage the finances of your club and train your athletes as efficiently as possible to allow them to reach their highest regional, national and international goals. You will have to take into account their physical limitations and plan the season to best prepare your athletes to compete at their maximum potential.

You won't play against teams managed by a computer, but will be able to challenge other managers like you, competing to win seasonal Championships or improve your position in the National League series. This game is never-ending: every 10 weeks a new season begins.

Madeleine Davidson (Iron Road Runners)

Madeleine Davidson delivered a superb double for Iron Road Runners at the Club National Championships, winning both race walks. She completed the 20km in 1:43:36.14, setting a new personal best, before also taking victory over 50km in 4:21:20.39. The two wins continued an outstanding championship record for an athlete who has represented Iron Road Runners throughout her career.

Davidson has developed into a formidable championship race walker. She has won British individual titles over 20km in Seasons 100, 102 and 104, while victories over 50km followed in Seasons 105 and 106. Her career has also taken her to the Olympic Games, World Championships and European Continental Championships, with a fourth-place European finish in Season 104 among her strongest international results. Now, with a personal best and two Club National Championships victories on the same night, Davidson has added another memorable chapter to her career with Iron Road Runners.

William Ellis (Quemerford Harriers)

William Ellis delivered the performance of the week with a superb victory for Quemerford Harriers in the Golden League, winning the men’s 200 metres in 23.13 seconds. It was his first league victory of Season 107 and came just ten days after he had won the South West of England Individual Regional Championships over the same distance.

Ellis has developed into an accomplished championship sprinter during a career spent entirely with Quemerford Harriers. His breakthrough at national level came in Season 101 when he won the British 200 metres title in 22.43 seconds, before claiming the crown again in Season 103 with his personal best of 22.27. He has since added three national silver medals, including one last season, alongside four regional 200 metres titles. His latest Golden League victory adds another notable result to that record and provides a timely reminder of the speed that has made the 200 metres his strongest event.
